Clover Compact CC4815e

The Clover Compact CC4815e is a battery drive unit that takes the place of the petrol engine on a walk-behind power trowel. It is fitted to the reductor mounting holes, so the blades unit, the reductor and the frame stay exactly as they are. A machine that has already been in service for years can be converted instead of replaced, which keeps the step to emission-free work small.

1.5 kW, no exhaust gas and no cables

The air-cooled 1.5 kW motor (2.0 hp) is powered by a fireproof LiFePO4 battery. Because there are no exhaust gases, the machine can be used indoors, in basements, in tunnels and in enclosed structures where a combustion engine is not permitted. There is no fuel to store and no trailing cable to reposition as the job progresses.

Keep working without waiting for a charge

The Clover battery is exchanged in a few seconds with the QuickChange mount, without tools. Each battery shows its own state of charge, so the operator can see what is left before starting a new section instead of estimating it. Runtime is 50 to 120 minutes depending on the concrete, the pass being made and the operator. On a 30 A rapid charger a battery is back to 100% in 35 minutes, so one spare battery is enough for continuous work.

Lower operating costs than a petrol engine

There is no oil, no air filter, no spark plug and no carburettor, so scheduled engine maintenance disappears. Electricity costs a fraction of petrol costs per hour of use, and the low noise level makes the machine suitable for sites with restricted working hours or noise limits.
